Hi friends! I’m excited to share with you this awesome product that I have been using! If you are anything like me, I love to write everything down. Writing lists and tracking things like nap times and play dates is the best way I stay organized. Up until recently, I was using a planner that I had picked up at Chapters earlier this year. The weeks were spread out over two pages, making my notes cluttered and disorganized. Pretty soon, I stopped using the planner and resorted to using random scraps of paper. Bad idea.
Enter the Mom Planner.
This planner is from Paper & Apples and created by Kristin who is the Mom of two daughters and a Grade One teacher ( needless to say, this lady knows the importance of organization!).
The first thing you will notice about this planner is its size. The full-sized pages allow for tons of space for notes and you won’t feel cramped or cluttered.
The inside of the planners is separated into six sections: Information, Calendars, Weekly Plans, Tracking, Recipes, and Extras.
The Information section allows storage of family details, medical information ( perfect to leave available for babysitters), dates to remember and (my personal favorite) a section to store all those website passwords.
The Calendar section contains months at a glance, pages to store notes for each month and a section monthly ideas, perfect for bloggers or planning ahead activities for kids.
The Weekly Plan pages are definitely my favorite part of the planner. Each week is broken into daily columns which organize daily tasks, things to do, or in my case, sleep tracking for Leah. There is even a spot to organize meals for breakfast lunch and dinner! I have been makings notes of Leah’s weekly milestones under the “Remember “section since it is far easier than pulling out her baby book.
The Tracking section helps organize finances and budget plans. There are also additional blank tracking pages to use as you choose.
The Recipe section stores all of your favorite meals and provides a reminder of where to find them.
Finally, the Extras section offers blank lists of things to do, ideas of play time with kids and a place to store moments of gratitude.
Kristin offers the ability to customize your cover with your name along with the option to pick your cover design from her catalog of patterns. You can also opt to customize the inside of your planner with photos of your choosing.
I can not say enough good things about this planner. I use it every single day and even Chris has been making notes in it! You don’t have to be a Mom to use this planner, anyone can use it! Incidentally, Kristin also makes teacher planners too.
