After a lot of debating, Chris and I decided to have maternity photos taken. I knew right away that I wanted to hire Tawnya for the photos since I had been admiring her Instagram feed for months.
Tawnya suggested we split the session into indoor and outdoor photos.
Here are some of the highlights from inside.
We had hoped that it would be snowing the day of photos but in typical Lethbridge style, all we got was the wind. Tawnya made a floral crown and generously let me borrow a beautiful blue maternity dress.
This last shot of Chris and I is my favorite photo. We will be framing this one for sure.
After getting blown away at the University, we decided to head down to the river bottom, hoping to find more snow and less wind.
Chris joined in for a few photos too.
Tawnya suggested that we go to the coulees to try to take a few sunset photos. As we got into our vehicles, Tawnya accidentally locked her keys in the trunk of her car. We had good laugh about the whole situation and decided to still try to get a few photos and deal with the keys afterwards.
Our little girl could make her arrival any day now and we are so excited to meet her. Thank you Tawnya for capturing these memories for us and look forward to do our newborn photos with you!
