I had the BEST time at my bridal shower/ Bachelorette party.
I started the day of by getting my makeup done at Bad Apple Salon. I’m always bit nervous getting my makeup done but Kyla did such a great job.
Here is Liat praising Dawn (Chris’ mom) on what a wonderful man she raised.
After that, the girls sent me to a clothes line of underwear where I had to guess who had brought what.
We did a quick photo shoot with everyone (thank you Jo for taking all these awesome photos!)
Out of nowhere, Chris sister, Shanny, showed up dressed as Chris when he goes golfing. I couldn’t stop laughing!
We played the newlywed game and I had to answer questions how Chris would answer them.
Before we left to go out, I did a gift opening. The best was pulling out this pink lingerie and realizing it was from Chris’ Nana! The story she told about buying this was pretty epic:
We headed out to Moca Cabana where I downed a pitcher of Sangria and we had some dinner.
A few of the girls had to leave and we had a break before our next adventure (I had no idea what was planned for the day until it happened). We went to Backstreet and downed a couple of shots (of course) before heading to the Great Escape.
A couple of the ladies hadn’t done an escape room so they were a little unsure of it. It didn’t take long until we were yelling and getting right into it. It was so much fun! We ran out of time but when the owner came in to tell us we failed, we yelled at him to get out (he’s related to Chris’ Dad). It only took us about 2 minutes to crack our last lock so we considering it a success!
To end the night, we headed to Hudson’s for, you guessed it, more drinks.
I crawled into bed around midnight, not overly late, but way past my usual 9pm bed time.
I had such an amazing day. I had so much fun and felt so loved by everyone who came. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of ladies to help me celebrate my last days as an unmarried women.
