Last Saturday, we went to Spice Grill which is a new restaurant that opened in Lethbridge. Spice Grill is a combination of Canadian and Indian cuisine. We started with some complimentary samples of smoked salmon on a slice of strawberry, topped with some sort of cream cheese. It seemed like an odd combo, but it worked.
For dessert , we ordered brownies which came on a sizzling plate.
We want to go back and try the buffet they have a lunch time.
Chris is now working in town for a couple of weeks. It’s nice to have him home for a bit after having him on the road for so long.
I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for the last few months. I had been getting my eyebrows waxed for years, but I wanted to try something new. Threading is a technique where the esthetican takes a cotton thread and twists it into a double strand. The thread is then swept along the skin, lifting hairs from the follicle. Threading is pain-free ( for me ) and leaves virtually no redness. I have also found that threading helps create a lot of shape and seems to last longer than waxing.
Ps. If you are in the Lethbridge area, I see Jessica Parmar and I would highly recommend her.
Chris took his bike out for the first time in a couple of years. He tried to convince me to go for a ride with him but I’m paranoid I will just fall off. This was as far as I got:
I’ve been doing a bit reading on Paleo recipes. I have no intent on going crazy on any kind of diet plan, I just enjoy looking for new recipe ideas. I found this very dramatic blog post about paleo food and I couldn’t stop laughing 😂😂
Hope you have a great weekend !!
